The Notebook

Book/ Film: The Notebook
Genre: Drama - Romance
Author/ Director: Nicholas Sparks Characters/ Actors: Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams, Gena Rowlands, James Garner, James Marsden, San Shepard, Joan Allen

Review:

Is story about two young people in the 1940s who fall in love and endure life.

They are Allie (Rachel McAdams) and Noah (Ryan Gosling) who fall in love when they were teenangers. The young couple is quickly separated by Allie's upper-class parents who insist that Noah isn't right for her. Several years passed and Allie Nelson, twenty-nine, is now with another man, but realizes that the original passion she felt for Noah has not dimmed with the passage of time. But when they meet again, their passion is reborn, forcing Allie to choose between her soul mate and class order. This beautiful tale has a particularly special meaning to an older gentleman (James Garner) who regularly reads the timeless love story to his aging companion (Gena Rowlands).

Is a great movie, especially if you like love movies! I don’t usually watch tv or go to the cinema, but there are specific films that I can’t stop watching, and one of them is “The Notebook”.

Cast Away

Film: Cast Away
Genre: Drama
Author/ Director: Robert Zemeckis
Characters/ Actors: Tom Hanks, Helen Hunt, Nick Searcy, Christopher North.

Review:
The film is about a man who lived in a big city, working hard in a delivery company. His life was very boring until one day, he had to travel to Hawai for eight days and the plane in which he was travelling, crashed in to the sea. This man was the only survivor and he needed to gets to the beach and find a way to get back to his city.
He arrived on Cook Island and stayed there for four years.
He tried to find a solution but always found himself back in the same situation. He had a horrible time, because he wasn't used to to the wild life. Furthemore he was suffering and missing his girlfriend and his real life.
Time passed and the man found a ship to take him back home.

In my opinion "Shipwrecked" is a fantastic movie, because it includes many things and values. You learn that you should be careful with your life and be thankful for got it.
Is a movie that I saw many times. I recommend you to watch it because I'm sure you'll like it!
