Film: Jumper.
Genre: Action / Adventure /Sci-Fi/ Thriller.
Director: Doug Liman.
Actors: Hayden Christensen, Jamie Bell, Rachel Bilson, Diane Lane, Samuel L. Jackson.
Review:
“Jumper” is a film made by 20th Century Fox, from the novel of the same name written by Steven Gould, we can insert it in the genre of Scy- Fi. First of all, I can say that this film has a high quality of special effects that impress the audience in every escene, the soundtracks as well are adequate to it, and combined create an excellent climax in some tension parts the film presents. Another point that is very important to light up it’s the fact that the story by itself it’s more complex than the one that was shown in the big screen, obviously, we have to read the book to develop that, even though, I thought it was important to remark that point.Nevertheless, there’s a rumour speared that maybe, Jumper it’s the first film of a trilogy that will come on the following months. From my point of view, and concluding this review, I have to say that Jumper had captured my attention on the cinema, but finding information about other merchandise (such as Playstation 2 games), it’s not a good product, and was made just to be another popcorn film, as many others that I’ve seen before.

Pride and Prejudice
Book: Pride & Prejudice
Genre: Novel of manners
Author: Jane Austen
Characters: Elizabeth Bennet, Mr. Bingley, Fitzwilliam Darcy, Mr. Wickham, Mr. Bennet, Mrs. Bennet, Jane Bennet, Mary Bennet, Catherine (Kitty) Bennet, Lydia Bennet, Mr. William Collins.
Review:
“Pride & Prejudice” is a novel by the Eglish author Jane Austen first published on 28 January 1813. First of all, we can analyze some important themes, that are universal ideas explored in the novel, such as love, sexual tension, marrige, pride, prejudice and reputation. Anothers interestings items are the motifs that we found reading the book, for example, a motiff that is use to develop the themes is a ball, some meetings in Bingley’s mansion, the large journeys that the characters do, because they are all the time travelling around England or Money, that it’s has big importance in the hole story. Equally important is the plot summary. The story is about about five sisters: Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Kitty and Lydia Bennet, wich mother, Mrs. Bennet is desperate to see them married. Their lives are turned upside down when a wealthy young man called Mr. Bingley and his best friend Mr. Darcy arrive to their town. Unfortunately for the Bennets, if Mr Bennet dies their house will be inherited by a distant cousin whom they have never met called Mr. Collins, so the family's future happiness and security is dependant on the daughters making good marriages. Jane falls in love with Mr. Bingley and Lizzie refuses her love to Mr. Darcy, because she considers that he is a proud man. At the end, Lizzy accepts her love to Darcy and he proposes marrige to her, I believe that you can imagine what happends next. In conclution, I hardly recommend Pride & Prejudice book to those readers that look for something passional and entretaining, a classic of literature that had left it mark on me.

The Illusionist
Book/ Film: The Illusionist
Genre: Mystery-Romance
Author/ Director: Steven Millhouser/Neil Burger
Characters/ Actors: Edward Norton, Jessica Biel, Paul Giamatti.
Review:
The Illusionist is the story of a man called Eisenheim who as a young boy fell in love with a countess but their love was forbbided. Fifteen years later, they met again and by this time, he was a succesful magician. But some problems come when he founds out that she was engaged with the crown prince of Austria.
In my oppinion, this is a great film. It has a little bit of every genre, the romantic story is beautiful and it also catches your attention the hole time. The ending is surprising and it explained all the conclusions I had made in my mind.
It's really enjoyable and entertaining.

Grease
Book/ Film: GREASE
Genre: musical
Author :Kelly Archer
Director: Randal Kleiser
Characters :John Travolta, Olivia Newton
Review:
This romantic film begins in 1958 during the summer vacation when
Danny Zuko (John Travolta) and Sandy Olsen (Olivia Newton) meet in the beach ,
it was love at first sight .
For different reason their romance have to end and will never see each other again.
However, Sandy enrolls at Rydell High School , where Danny is a student.
So, problem start when their realise that they have friend in commun.
The Pink Ladies, friends from Sandy decid to reunite Danny and Sandy, but Danny wants to protect his cool image , because he is the leader of the T-Birds, a group of black-jacket
greasers .
And in that moment she realized that Danny isn't the same at the beach.
Later, on the last day of school carnival, Danny arrives, having followed through on his track jock plans and Sandy arrives wearing a black leather jacket, red peep-toe high heeled sandals,
skintight black off-the-shoulder top, curled hair, and smoking a cigarett. Danny finds her
extremely attractive, falling at her feet.
and then the two reunite, singing the upbeat "You're the One That I Want" (another song added
for the movie, and a hit single before the movie even came out) and in my opinion the best song
for me.
At finally, everyone sings the big finale, "We Go Together", and Sandy and Danny fly off in the
"Grease (Reprise)" car and disappear into the sky.
In my opinion this is the best film because is too old and really make my feel in same possion like Sandy.

Review: Midnight Sun is Twilight story (from Twilight`s saga) written from Edward's point of View. Its just a partial draft of twelve chapters, because the author (Stephenie Meyer) decided this to avoid more ilegal posts in the future until she finish it completly. The book tells the love story between Isabella Swan and Edward Cullen. Bella is a normal, shy and quiet girl, but on the other hand Edward is a vampire. Both are deeply in love, but Edward must live with the uncontrollable through desire of drinking her blood. The story is placed in Forks, a small and cloudly town. In first place he decides to leave town and run away from her, but in time he realizes that she's the most important thing in his life. I am Sam
- Film: “I am Sam”
- Genre: Drama
- Director: Jessie Nelson
- Authors: Jessie Nelson and Kristine Johnson.
- Cast: Sean Penn (Sam Dawson), Michelle Pfeiffer (Rita Williams), Dakota Fanning (Lucy Dawson), Dianne Wiest (Annie Cassell).
- Review: “I am Sam” tells the story of a mentally disabled man, with a developmental age of seven years old. Although he is not prepared, he has a beautiful daughter, called Lucy Diamond (named after “Lucy in the sky with diamond”, one of the most well-known Beatles´ songs), whom he brings up with the support of a kind neighbour (Annie) and helpful friends. But at the age of seven, Lucy becomes aware of her father’s mental capacity and tries not to progress in order to make him look smarter than her. However, the girl is taken away from him by the authorities. With the help of a cold-hearted lawyer, called Rita, Sam is able to regain custody of his daughter. Furthermore, viewers are provided with a wonderful soundtrack (including new versions of the most famous Beatles´songs) and career-defining performances. To sum up, I believe wholeheartedly that “I am Sam” goes to the very roots of society and Sam Dawson, its main character, sets a very important example in life. As a matter of fact, the movie in question is a kind-hearted and touchy story, which teaches us that love is all we need to fulfill our aims.
