Batman: “The Dark Knight“

Book/ Film: Batman: “The Dark Knight“

Genre: Action

Author/ Director: Christopher Nolan

Characters/ Actors: Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman. Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Morgan Freeman

 Review:

-Batman “the dark knight“ is a Christopher Nolan’s film. The main actor is Christian Bale, one of the best actors of Hollywood, acting as Bruce Wayne. In the film, there are many actors like Michael Caine, Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman, Aaron Ecknart, Maggia Gyllenhaal and Morgan Freeman. It is an action film.

-Batman, Gordon and Harvey Dent are forced to deal with the chaos unleashed by an anarchist mastermind known only as the Joker, a he drives each of them to their limits.

-The editing team started work in Los Angeles, traveled to London and Chicago, and then back to London and Los Angeles. In London, the editors cut the film in editing suites outside the city on weekdays and worked with the director at his home on weekends. The director had also requested that the editing team keep Batman Begins online as a reference. The filmmaking team takes more time to focus on creating the best film possible. And, on the dark knight, they have created a Batman that is ready to soar.

-This movie has some great background music, adding to the suspense and thrill of the movie. While not a soundtrack someone may want to go to buy or download, it is definitely one that entices viewers to stay on the edge of their seats while watching the movie.

-In my opinion, Batman “the dark knight“ is an excellent movie, but it is worse than Batman “Begins”. The action is great, and the plot is deeper and engrossing. I applaud Heath Ledger as the real star of the show, as Batman’s most deadly enemy, the Joker.

This film shows us that people sometimes is blond for getting money, in this case they ruin the life a man without care about his feelings, it shows a capitalist society.

In the movie the special effects, in the last scenes are incredible, when they make the terrible storm, to try that Truman doesn’t escape of the cruel true.
In this movie you have to analyze the simboligists too, for example the name of the protagonist TRUMAN that have the symbolisms of a true man, the director with his staff are on the moon of the set, that represented the feelings of the people, another thing is the name of the city Seaheaven that means sea heaven and the slogan of the city which is "Omnis pro uno" that in Latin means all for one that one obviously is Truman.

That movie makes you fell terrible because all the things that Truman have to pass to get free for that lovely prison that they created for him, but is a good movie to understand a lot of things.

“The pursuit of Happiness” is a Gabriele Muccino’s dramatic film, set n the USA in the 2006. Will smith plays the part of Christopher Gardner, a man who has to fight with the life to get ahead, after being left by his wife Linda Gardner, played by Thandie Newton and a little child to take care called Christopher Gardner Jr. played by Jaden Smith, who is Will’s son in the real life.

He can’t afford a department or a room to live, and when he finally finds a promising job, he has to do training for six month. He must fight hard to give a better life to his son and to himself.
The aspect which has more influence in this film is the acting. Will Smith managed to express all the feelings of Christopher though him, for example when he left ashamed for have to take his little son to the bathroom of a station to sleep. And Jaden Smith, in spite of acting like a little boy who doesn’t understand some of his life, he show us the innocence than only a child can show.
We mustn’t consider the brilliant performance of Will only; if not that we must take into account the plot of the film, which is based on the self-improvement, values and dreams to achieve. It is a very positive concept for people.
In my opinion, this film is excellent, because it’s very moving and very realistic. Despite the fact that in this type of film there isn't any great special effects, or something extraordinary, it could captivate us through the performances of the Smith against the hard life they have to live.

City of God

Book/ Film: City of God
Genre: Drama

Author/ Director: Fernando Meirelles

Characters/ Actors: Alexandre Rodrigues, Douglas Silva

Review:

The City of God is a Fernando Meirelles’s film. This movie is from 2002. Their main actors are Alexandre Rodrigues known as “Cohete” and Douglas Silva as “Ze Pequeño.” This film was shot in a “favela” of Rio de Janeiro” between 2001 and 2002. It is a drama film.

This film shows the different problems of poor people living in a favela. It’s star talking about how poor people have to moved to a favela of Rio de Janeiro because they haven’t enough money to pay a rent in the city. It also talks about the increase in organized crime, drugs and violence. At the beginning of the movie they show us who will be the main characters, a boy called “Cohete” who wants to be a cameraman and another boy called “Ze Pequeño” who wants to be a gangster and a drug dealer.

The scenery of City of God is amazing, most of time of the film passes in the favela but sometimes are shown parts of the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro which is awesome, its beaches are nice with white sand and the blue water of the sea.

Respect the acting and the actor there is nothing to say, they are marvelous, most of the actors were from the favela in which the film was recorded, because the director had to talk with the boss of the favela which allowed them to shoot the film with the only condition that they will put people from the favela in the movie, which also helps to give more credibility to the story.

In my Opinion City of God is an excellent movie and I recommend to see it, the actors behaved like really professionals, the scenery is really amazing, also the film was bases on a real story. This movie also show you how poor people live, and the tings they have to support, the difficulties that they have and so. The phrase that identified the movie was “Fight and never survive ... Run and never escape”.

I really enjoyed watching this movie and if possible I will watch it again.

Both get in a serious problem with Boo, a small human girl who came into the monster’s world by mistake. Review:
Home Alone

It doesn’t matter if you stay alone in home, with brave and security you can break the order. That’s the message that “Home Alone” teach us, starring Macaulay Caulkin as Kevin Mcalister and Joe Pessi and Daniel Stern as the thief’s. The 1990 film was written by Chris Columbus. In the colds suburbs of U.S Kevin must affront a series of conflicts that put his life in risk. Was a film very well received for the public, with simple effects and a lot of laughs, is a film to watch over and over.

Discussions make Kevin to be in his own room being arrogant, this makes him fell asleep and unfortunately stay home alone. Living his own life and making whatever he wants, but nothing is easy and peaceful, knowing that Kevin is alone a couple of thief’s wants to empty the house, putting a series of traps making his life impossible

The director creates the effect of simplicity and exiting, showing the innocence of Kevin, not too many effects, just a great work by the producer using simple objects to make fun until we cry. The cast was a right reason to watch it. The innocence of Caulkin shows the other face of the film

The place was the perfect scene to film, during winter all people stay at home, that’s what the thief’s take advantage of, and the all series of traps are genially, since Christmas accessories to paint cans will beat the power of robbery. The costumes are no too much, just every day clothes, and some other Christmas things.

Home alone is a excuse too stay for hours laughing, it’s a great film that with the years wins more prestige and recognition, and shows us that in complicated situations, having a little patience we can fix the problems, no matter sex or age

The Pursuit of Happyness

"The pursuit of happyness" is a Gabriele Muccino ´s film. The main characters are played by Will Smith and his son. Will Smith was nominated due to his performance to win an oscar award. It is a pretty new movie that was filmed in the USA.

The film tells the history of a man who doesn't have a good job and he can't support his family. His wife abandons them because they don't have money so she start looking for a better life. He can't pay the bills so he start living in a subway, in the street and in different places. He only had one solution, to earn a lot of money. Will Smith' s performance is brillant because it looks very real. He makes us feel what he feels.
It was filmed on the street so there was no need to use a studio.

In my opinion, this film is very moving and it shows that in life we have to fight for our dreams, even when it is hard.

Resident Evil Afterlife

Review:

The film is the fourth delivery of the saga of video games gone on to the cinema. After the infection of the virus T the world remained desert and Alice found dwells survivors and refuge to survive. Then it liberated Claire Redfield who was under the influence of to device installed by the corporation umbrella. Meetings find to group of persons who try to survive and come to arcadia, the refuge about which one was speaking for the radio. They meet Chris Redfield, Claire's brother and together they can come to Arcadia but it was Umbrella's trap. There they fougth against wesker in a spectacular battle.

The costume design is very important in the film because it makes the actors look more authentic and exciting. In the fight between Alice and Claire against the hangman, the clothes of them are frivolous, which allows them to be fast and agile to move. Whereas his clothes are a very resistant armor and a big axe that does it more slowly but very strong.

The especial effects are fantastic. The scenes of the fights, shots, and when Alice jumps of a building with the zombies chasing her, they are going to feel impressed.

This movie offers a lot of action, in a possible horrible end for the human race. To try to survive this situation and to face the zombies generates emotion and something of terror.
I recommend this movie specially to boys, since these stocks in to video game.

Titanic is a film directed by James Cameron. Its main actors are Leonardo DiCaprio known as Jack Dawson and Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater. This movie was recorded in Baja California, Mexico in 1996 and 1997. This film was released on December 19, 1997. This is a drama film.

This film is about two people who are on a ship called Titanic, one of these is Jack Dawson who wins his ship ticket in a bet, and the other is Rose DeWitt Bukater who was there back from Europe to USA. They met on this ship when she was in the ship’s bow trying to commit suicide and Jack saves her. Since this moment both fell in love and they try to hide their true love from the rest. But in the trip, the ship crashes with an iceberg so they try to survive.

Respect the acting, it is amazing because the actors are really professionals and take us into the movie, making us like we are inside the film. The acting is impeccable, the scenes are very well dramatized because these keep the plot to the end of the movie.

In relation to costume design, it is very well worked, because it makes the difference between the social classes, and it’s located the film on the 20th century’s age, for example the ladies were wearing long dresses and tight corsets meanwhile the men were wearing black suits, elegant hats and shoes.

In my opinion Titanic is a masterpiece, because the actors are really good, the set design is wonderful and the film is based on a real story. I enjoyed watching this movie, it gave me some information about the historical events of the past. I advise you watch this movie, you won't regret it.

The Number 23

Book/ Film: Number 23
Genre: Thriller

Author/ Director: Joel Schumacher

Characters/ Actors: Jim Carrey Virginia Madsen Logan Lerman

Number 23 (2007) is a film, which was directed by Joel Schumacher. The stars of the film are Jim Carrey as Walter Sparrow, Virginia Madsen as Agatha Sparrow and Logan Lerman as Robin Sparrow. It is a thriller.
On the birthday of Walter Sparrow, his wife, Agatha Sparrow, gave him a book about a story related with the number 23, like a present. While he was reading the book, he started to see the number 23 everywhere, and he started to get exasperated. And he started to look for the reason of it.
One of the characteristics of a thriller is generating intrigue. And this film´s story generates a lot of intrigue, and the surprising acting of Jim Carrey helps to get it. Jim Carrey’s acting is surprising because it was the first time he acted in a thriller. In spite of this, his acting was great and believable.
The music, which was written by Harry Gregson – Williams, helps to get intrigue too. He put the correct music and silence in each moment. So it did not break the intrigue’s atmosphere.
The story is very well done, because it has all the necessary elements for a great thriller, for example the music, effects and the stars did an excellent acting. So it is a good film to see with your friends.

- Review:

Wanted (2008) is an action film which was directed by, the Russian director, Timur Bekmambetov, and stars by James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman. The film is an adaptation of the comic of Mark Millar.

The film tells the story of Wisley Gibson (McAvoy), a man who is tired of his boring life, which changes when he meets Fox (Jolie), who gives him the opportunity of revenging his father, who was killed. Fox presents him the boss of ‘The Fraternity’, Sloan (Freeman), who taught him the techniques to become the best killer and get his object; then, he starts to know who the people who were helping him are.

The performances of the cast were really good. Angelina Jolie played his character in a similar form as the other characters of actions film that she stared, but she is excellent. James McAvoy wasn’t very famous before the film, in spite of doing a very good acting. Morgan Freeman is a classic in this type of films, we can always see him playing the boss of some organization, he always played these characters exceptionally well and this wasn’t the exception.

Two of the most brilliant aspects of the film were the special effects in the action scenes and the spectacular sets. An example of the last is the huge textile fabric where the loom works, which is a very important element in the plot.
The special effects make the movie more intense, because it shows in detail the murders, using a lot of the resource of slow motion.

The film is excellent, because it has great performances and fantastic special effects and the story was really interesting, so I recommended it.

Dead Poets Society is a brilliant movie made by Peter Weir in 1989. It was filmed in Vermont so breathtaking scenaries can be easily valued. This drama movie has performances by Robin Williams, Robert Sean Leonard an Ethan Hawke.

Mr Keating introduces them a latin phrase, "Carpe Diem" which means "seize the day". These students start to meet in a cave to share Literature and poetry so their friendship increases and they start to mature.

Since the movie has a superb casting, the acting ir exceptional and it's very easy to get completely involved with the story and to feel part of it. Robin Williams demostrates one more time to be a great professional.

Review:

Toy Story

Toy Story is a funny film. It is an animation produced in 1995 by John Lasseter. This film happens the present in Andy’s house, the toy’s owner.

The film is about toys that are alive; they speak, walk and run when nobody is seeing them. The toys want to see happy to Andy. The most important characters in this film are Woody and Buzz Lightyear. They are best friends. Beforehand, Buzz was Woody’s competition to be Andy’s favorite toy.
We can see different problems between them, like a fight that finish with they outside the house. Afterwards they lost and end up with Cid, the worst boy of the city. Here they are alone and sad, and want to escape

The characters are fantastic in the film. All their movements are really perfect. Sure they used their best technology, to make a big film and they did it. We enjoy every scence of the film.

The film has a lot of voices and background music in the filmmaking.
In all the film we can enjoy the voice of my favorite character, Woody, by Tomm Hanks, the voice of Buzz Lightyear by Tim Allen, Andy’s voice by John Morri’s and Slinky, the dog, by Jim Varney.
About the music, is well known the song “you’ve got a friend in me”. It is a thing characteristic of the film.

The story is the best animation film in the last years. It can be watched by any person from any age. It is hard to for let once you watch it and I recomendate it.

Film: The notebook
Genre: Romantic
Director: Nick Cassavetes
Characters/ Actors:

• Ryan Gosling as Young Noah Calhoun
• Rachel McAdams as Young Allie Hamilton
• James Garner as Older Noah Calhoun
• Gena Rowlands as Older Allie Calhoun

Review:
The film opens with an older man reading out of a notebook to another woman who is sick, a story between two young lovers; The story dates back to the summer of 1940 in Seabrook, South Carolina.

Noah (Ryan Gosling) is a local boy who works at the lumber mill and Allie Hamilton (Rachel McAdams) is a girl about seventeen years old, from a wealthy family spending the summer in Seabrook. At a carnival, Allie meets Noah Calhoun, first she doesn’t look him but later she falls in love. Her family doesn’t agree with the relationship between Allie and Noah, they think that she would be with a rich man. Over the summer, Noah and Allie fall passionately in love and spend every moment together.

But then they break up, but immediately regret the decision. Allie's family leaves Seabrook the next day and Noah, devastated, writes her one letter every day for a year, which Allie's mother hides. After Allie doesn't reply to him, Noah moves to Atlanta. When Pearl Harbor is attacked, he enlists in the army for World War II while Allie attends college.

I think that it is a beautiful and emotional romantic movie . This movie felt involved in the situations and the lives of the character- crying at the sad moments and feeling cheerful. In general, love stories are predictable but this movie kept me guessing at the outcome, and delivered twists throughout the whole film. The Notebook was extremely well constructed. All the costume designe and the stage are fantastic. The actors are so great, i have watched a lot of movies where they worked and they are amazing.

Alice in Wonderland

Film: "Alice in Wonderland"

Genre: adventure, family, fantasy

Director: Tim Burton

Actors: Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonhman Carter and Anne Hathaway

Review:

“Alice in Wonderland” is a Tim Burton’s film based on Lewis Carroll’s book. It is set in an imaginary world where animals and flowers can talk and think. This award winning film is starred by amazing actressees and actors like Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska and Helena Bonham Carter.

The new version of this story starts when Alice is eighteen and not ten like we are used to, and she returns to the Wonderland. She feels that she was there before but Alice can’t remember. The teenager must face different adventures, full of magic and fantasy.

In “Alice in Wonderland” like in all Tim Burton’s films, we recognize an artsy film, focus in the costume design which is always fantastic. In this opportunity Tim Burton chose Colleen Atwood like his costume designer. Colleen explained that his costume design is divided in three parts: animated characters, the Wonderland and Victorian England. She said that she did a lot of research for creating the perfect design. Atwood also confessed that this film was the best of her life. In the other hand, Sony Pictures Image works was the responsible of the special effects and sets. Some famous artists, sets designer and specialist in Victorian England and in imaginary creatures collaborated with them in this work.

I am happy to report that Tim Burton’s new version of the Lewis Carroll's book is one of the best films in 2010. In spite of the challenge that has a 3D movie, this production won the respect of others. One of the biggest problems with 3D cinematography is the tendency for objects, not only to become smaller as they move away from the camera, but to lose their dimensional stability. Burton doesn’t solve the problem, but he adapts it to his subject matter. For these reasons and too many others, I think “Alice in Wonderland” deserves the golden Oscar.

This leaded to a typical impossible love story. The climax occurs when the circus´ owner finally found them and the film ends unexpectedly.

The director achieved an excellent thirties´ ambience with great costumes.

Pattinson and Witherspoon play the roles of Jacob and Marlena very consistently and convincingly. In the scene where they finally kiss each other they reach their highest acting level.

In my opinion this mainstream film is very good. I recommend it.

Fast and Furious 5

Film: FAST AND FURIOUS 5

Genre: Action
Author/ Director: Justin Lin
Characters/ Actors: Paul Walker, Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson

Review:
The Fast and Furious saga is back again for a new action film directed by Justin Lin. The main actors are Paul Walker, Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson. The cool cars are there, the beautiful women and the slick action too.

The plot this time takes ex-cop Brian O´Conner (Walker), Dom Toretto (Diesel) and his sister Mia (Jordana Brewster) and friend Vince (Matt Schulze) and places them in Brazil for a high-risk car boost. The stars of the first Fast and Furious movie are going to carry out a revenge on a criminal that made their life horrible. Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang and Gal Gadot are just some of the famous stars that were specially inveted to take part in the film.

I have seen the whole saga but this last film stand out fom the rest, because of the action it has. Also the acting is really good, and you can see that there was a big effort from all the people that are involved with the film.

If you are a fan of the previous films you won´t be disappointed, because it is a very interesting and entertaining film.

Review:
Pearl Harbor is a Michael Bay film which is set in World War II, the main actors are Ben Affleck (Rafe McCawley), Josh Hartnett ( Danny Walker), Kate Beckinsale (Evelyn Johnson), Alec Baldwin ( Jimmy Doolittle), Tom Sizemore (Earl Sistern). It is a dramatic revision of the events in the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.The final part of the movie relates the Doolittle Raid, the first U.S. attack on Japanese islands in the Second World War.

The movie begins in Nowheresville where two young friends dreamed of becoming fighter pilots. When war eventually breaks out in Europe and Asia the two friends realise their dream and sign up for the air force.Rafe soon falls in love with a nurse who passed the medical examination of income, but decides to go to Europe to fight in the war with the American squad. While Rafe fight in Europe his friend Daniel is sent to Pearl Harbor Islands where he falls for his friend's girlfriend.Evelyn and Daniel fall in love thinking that Rafe had died in Europe, when Rafe returns from Europe start a confrontation with the naval forces of Japan which objective was destroy the American Pacific fleet after the Japanese attack Rafe and Daniel along with other soldiers carried out a bombing in Tokyo.

The music of the film is by Hans Zimmer, the background music is very well set according to the time and situation of the story. The film has different styles of music, has romantic music for the scenes between the actors.

The movie has a lot of special effects, being one of the first films made about World War II.The use of special effects gives the story more real and makes it more appealing. No special effects were used only if they used this in addition to a large number of double, and the use of similar models of aircraft and ships used at that time.

I recommend this movie for fans of modern war films because the effects are very good and because the actors play their role well.

Freaky Friday

Film: Freaky Friday

Genre: Comedy, fantasy and family.

Director: Mark Waters

Actors: Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis

Review: “Freaky Friday” is a comedy, fantasy and family film which is starred by Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis. It was filmed in the USA in 2003 and the film was directed by Mark Waters who directed other famous films like “Mean Girls”.

“Freaky Friday” tells a story about the bad relationship between a mother, Tess Coleman, and her daughter, Anna Coleman. They argue very often because Tess and Anna think differently about life things such as the way of dressing, boys, music, etc. Anna’s father is dead and her mother is marrying another man in two days. That night, the family goes to a restaurant to have dinner but Anna and Tess have an argument because Mrs. Coleman doesn’t want Anna to play in a concert the night before her marriage. The waitress gives them a biscuit, Tess and Anna eat it and the next morning a strange magic swap their bodies.

The acting of Lohan and Curtis is wonderful because there are not special effects in the film and you really think they have their bodies swapped. For example, when they wake up in the morning and realized that they are caught in another body; in the scene where Tess has to play the guitar in Anna’s body and she doesn’t know how to do it; or when Anna has to work as a phycologist as her mother does everyday and she always uses the phrase: “How do you feel with it?”.

The costume design in Freaky Friday is very important because it emphasizes Anna and Tess’ characters. It shows Anna’s rebelliousness when she wears crazy t-shirts in her mother’s body and the old fashion clothes which Tess wears in her daughter’s body.

I think it is a very good film because it shows an every day life situation mixed with some science fiction to express what a mother and a daughter feel about each other. It is a film which is worth watching because it is very entertaining and, at the end, it has a moral. It is recommendable for people of all ages.

Review: Pulp Fiction is a Quentin Tarantino’s film. His avant premiere was in 1993 and from that moment it turned out to be very important in history of cinema. The script was written by Tarantino and Roger Avary and won an Oscar of best script and the Palm d’or on the Cannes Festival.

Pulp Fiction is a Thriller. The film contains three interconnected stories of crime and intrigue that take place in a modern-day. One short film is about a two thieves, a man and girl, who stole a restaurant. The other short film is about a boxer who kill an other boxer in a fight and he has to escape. And the last short film is about two gangsters, Jules Winnfield and Vincent Vega, which have to kill a traitor. The lives of these seemingly unrelated people are woven together comprising of a series of funny, bizarre and uncalled-for incidents. All the details are executed to perfection.

The male caracters are Bruce Willies, Jhon Travolta, Samuell L. Jackson, Quentin Tarantino, and the actresses are Uma Thurman, Amanda Plummer, and others.

Pulp Fiction is the best film of Tarantino’s and is one of the best movies in the last twenty years. The perfection of the story, and the script are amazing. Pulp Fiction always will be a piece of art in the cinema.

INTO THE WILD

Book/ Film:INTO THE WILD

Genre: Drama film

Author/ Director: Sean Justin Penn

Characters/ Actors: Emile Hirsch, William Hurt, Marcia Gay Harden and Catherine Ann Keener
Review: Into the Wild (also known as “camino salvaje”) is an American film written and directed by Sean Penn launched in 2007. The character is played by Emile Hirsch(Christopher McCandless), and William Hurt, (Oscar winner for best actor), Marcia Gay Harden, nominated for an Oscar for best supporting actress and Catherine Keener.
This movie was filmed in the U.S.A. and north of Mexico(desert, beach,…)

The plot of this movie, Christopher decides to leave his home and sell his things (car...) and travel around the United States; with no money. The objective of Christopher is arriving to Alaska.
The film unfolds with flashbacks, in which they are interspersed with part of his journey to his past, and thus learn more about the history of Christopher.
Emile work was exceptional and intense. The director filmed a very entertaining film.

In my opinion the special-effects are disappointing, but the soundtrack was the best because was wake for Eddie Vedder (the lead singer, composer and leader of the American grunge group Pearl Jam).

In many cases I see a Christopher running in different parts of United States, these part was very exciting, or the part could not get food in Alaska and was about to go home and could not cross the river.

A film is infused with an expansive, almost giddy sense of possibility, and transmits a pure pleasure and natural open spaces, fresh air and bright sunlight; although, in the solitude of the boy, sometimes I gave the impression that he was not alone. Knew they were behind the cameras recorded.

Actually, I think it should have been nominated for best film.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Book/ Film: Benjamin Button
Genre: Drama & Mystery
Author/ Director: David Fincher
Characters/ Actors: Brad Pitt & Cate Blanchett
Student name: Agustin Hinojosa
Class: 5º "C".

Review:
The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttton tells the store of a man who born as an old man and die as a baby. So his life goes in the wrong way. Although the movie is mysterious, it can be classified as romantic, because Benjamin Button finds his love in the middle of his backwards life.

The movie characters are Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. The movie is directed by David Fincher.

The music to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was written by French composer
Alexandre Desplat, who recorded his score with an 87-piece ensemble of the Hollywood Studio Symphony at the Sony Scoring Stage.

The make-up of the movie is one the best in the whole movies; it makes people believe amazing differences in the different characters. For example when Benjamin appears as a young boy.

I loved Benjamin Button because combines mystery, fantasy and romanticism. It is an original story, and it is gripping during the whole movie. I recommended for those who love mysterious stories.

Review:
Twilight is an Amerian film genre fantasy romance directed by Catherine Hardwicke and based on the novel of the same name, which is the first of series of four books: “New Moon”, “Eclipse” and “Breaking Dawn” by Sthephanie Meyer. The film was filmed in Washington and Oregon in early 2008 and releades on 21 November in the U.S. and January 1, 2009 in Argentina.
The starts of the films are: Kristen Stewart as Bella Swam, Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen and Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black

It is a love story narrated by the protagonist Bella Swam, a 17 years odl moves to Forks, where her father, and meets Edward Cullen, vampire since 1918, has the appearance of a 17 years. She doesn’t know he is a vampire, but begins to suspect and investigate to find out. Bella is confident that will not hurt and realizes that she loves him.
The Cullen family and Bella play friendly game of baseball in the forest until they reach three evil vampires who want to kill Bella, but the family will protect her.

Vampires avoided the sun during the shoot to be too pale, but also used makeup to enhance the effect. Most shots were outdoors, and try to fix the faces maquillage wet and wet brush was difficult. They also participated in dance rehearsals with a choreographer.

The costume designer has been borne by Wendy Chuck, who made the costumes were immortal vampires who for many years and always wore jackets and shirts, in a more current as jeans, shirts.

There have been many vampires movies, but what distinguishes it, is its love story, that gets you.
The vampires in the story are not just a metaphor for what teens want, but can not. I found a wonderful film with a very beautiful and romantic history.
